"The Twelve Zodiac Signs" is a series based on the zodiac signs, as is pretty obvious by the name. It's an art series I've been wanting to do for a long time, the reason being that I love Astrology as a subject. I could even go as far as calling myself a total nerd when it comes to it. So, what's your zodiac sign, do you know what your Mars sign is, or what your Venus sign is, are we even compatible?
When designing the series I had a concept in mind for many months. The base for the idea was using twelve female models, real or not, representing each sign, with the signs specific colors as the centre of attention. The colors are based on a triadic or so called split-complementary color rule. If you have time and are interested in finding out the exact color pattern, try to figure it out!
The challenge this time was mostly with deciding the right hues. I didnät want it to be too random, some kind of pattern was necessary in my opinion.
