MONKEY KING - MOVIE POSTER

Monkey King is a movie based on the legendary chinese character, better known as Sun Wukong. As one who's very interested in eastern culture, I just had to take on this challenge.

My aim when creating this poster was to keep some traditional elements in the work and to use colors that were, and still are, commonly utilised in eastern art. Of course I did that while still being loyal to my own style.

I had three concepts in thought, you can see them all below. I finally felt like the one with the black blackground made the poster pop out the most, it was the most eyecatching one.
