BAD GIRL - BOOK COVER

The challenge of designing a book cover is to find what symbolizes the story the most, and to translate that into an eyecatching, unique front.

When you take on the mission of designing a book cover it is important to remember that your art is of huge influence for the book's selling rate, it can be the difference between failure and success. What I'm trying to convey is that the first impression is crucial. No pressure!

"Bad Girl" was a really fun project to work on. I really got to let my mind loose. Loyal to my artstyle, this is what I came up with. I made sure the book wouldn't get unoticed on the bookshelfs in the stores. It was also important to make it appeling to the so called millennials, who are the primary target demographic in this case.
